Sharon Mack
Stage career began in 1970 when she performed with her father at the Rainbow Theatre, with Barry White. There followed a twenty year involvement with show business in one form or another. She has worked back stage at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow, Event Managed for the Glasgow Garden Festival, been an Administrator for Alien Arts, Live Support and Superbad Enterprises, as well as several years spent touring American and Europe as an actress and singer.
After taking time off to have her daughter Lauren, also performing tonight, she became a working mother in the private sector for the M.D’s and CEO’s. of several top companies.
However, with entrepreneurial blood running through her veins she began the year 2000 by running her own business, Prestige Cleaning Services based in London. She has now moved over into the Marketing sector as Marketing and Communications Officer for the NHS. Currently studying a marketing degree her first love after her daughter Lauren remains singing.
At the concert Sharon will be emulating one of her father’s favourite female singers “Donna Summer” on the radio and has fond memories of her days on the road with him and his many attempts at trying to turn her into a professional singer.
It was her greatest wish that one day he would watch her sing on stage, gaining his praise by stepping into the limelight he introduced her to as a child. She hopes that he has a front row seat in heaven.
